To build a concentrated mid/small cap portfolio focused on creating significant value over the long term. The portfolio seeks to invest in high quality businesses, some of which may be relatively under researched and under owned companies. The portfolio will largely adopt a Buy and Hold strategy. It will hold the stocks till the expectedreturn from the potential opportunity is not fully realized. At the same time, the objective is not to stay invested in a stock idea through-out the life-time of the portfolio. As the market typically delivers a non-linear return profile, the fund manager may opportunistically seek to re-allocate money across stock ideas dynamically. The portfolio may also exit an investment with losses or insignificant gains if there are any adverse developments as per fund managerâ??s view.
